This morning I woke up with the energy that a herd of turtles must have. I assume that wouldn’t be very much energy.
It’s almost 5:00am as I am typing this. Seeing as I fell asleep early yesterday, I have been awake for a few hours and think its about time I got up to make more coffee. I don’t like the taste of any of the canned “energy” drinks that you can buy in stores, so I never get those.
What I probably need to do is get back in the habit of taking vitamins again. Now I know my brother would disagree with me about vitamins and in a way he is right. I just know that my eating habits are not that great this week. One of the cooks made a special pizza for me yesterday and I had 2 slices, so maybe the extra carbs made me tired. I fell asleep last night eating grapes and when I woke up this morning, the grapes were still sitting next to me. I took a break from my WW tracking book this week and I really need to get back to it. Maybe this morning I should have some instant oatmeal mixed with protein powder & peanut butter for breakfast, just to make sure I have energy at work today.
Yes I know, the so-called experts tell us not to eat in the bedroom. Well I live in a 1-room dorm-style building. So eating & using my laptop has to all be done in my bedroom. Experts will tell us not to watch TV in bed, which I have no problem with as I don’t own a TV. But I am on my laptop until I go to bed though.
I have heard that simple stretching is good before bed or also in the morning…which I have been trying to do recently. Now I said stretches (like as in yoga) before bed. Save the dance workouts for the morning if you need help wake yourself up. Last Fall I bought a couple new “yoga for scoliosis” books and I really should start forcing myself to get into a routine every night.
