Getting Creative in the Kitchen

7 employees got together and went to Walmart in Pahrump, Nevada. First time in 2 months that I have gone grocery shopping. I used to go shopping with Marie but she left around April 8th, so I hadn’t gone shopping since then.

Today is the first time I have ever tried zucchini noodles..that’s in the smaller pan. The bigger pan is hamburgers: mixed with mushrooms, garlic, and Mrs. Dash seasoning. Seeing as I am officially doing my own version of a low-carb diet, there is no bread for my burgers.

I had extra mushrooms cut up so I threw some in with the zucchini noodles along with a bouillon cube. I have no idea how must people eat them. It was a spur-of-the-moment recipe that I just threw together. Not bad, I will buy them again.

Next I need to get creative with cabbage. My boss had gone shopping a few days ago. He thought he had picked up lettuce but when he got home realized that he bought cabbage and he gave it to me. Then today I bought a red/purple cabbage so whatever I create, it will be colorful.

It has been awhile since I have had time and the space to get creative in a kitchen. Now with the opportunity to make my own meals I might actually lose the weight that I have gained from eating in the EDR for the last year.

Well I need to stop typing this and go clean up the kitchen, before I can go to sleep. The kitchen is shared with 4 other people and they might not want to see my mess everywhere.
