I don’t usually participate in these “blogging prompts” from other people, but this one hit home for me. Actually I check out this guy’s blog often after a couple of my followers mentioned him.

https://confusingmiddle.com/2020/09/16/sunday-scribblings-19-lost/ There are many possibilities for a blog post dealing with the word “LOST”. Follow the link to his page to see what others say.

Since this Covid-19 pandemic started, we have all lost whatever we considered a “normal” life. It’s easy to get stressed out and frustrated right now. We need to learn patience with ourselves and with others.

Covid-19 has brought many losses to all our lives…. Personally I have lost quite a few ex-coworkers from this pandemic. One of my housemates recently lost her brother.

I am lucky enough to have a job. I may not always get a full 40-hours in but it’s enough so that I don’t fear a loss of income. Sometimes it seems that work is my only reason to get out of bed. Sometimes on my one day off a week, I just want to spend the whole day doing NOTHING. Without work, I have no reason to do anything.

Maybe life has no meaning, but as humans we try to associate a meaning or purpose so we can justify our existence. As we navigate life, it is perfectly normal to feel lost occasionally and sometimes the only way out is through.

Have you ever noticed that when you feel lost and empty inside, that you go through life on autopilot mode? Well that’s me, this week. Now like a good little robot, I must get ready for work.
